Mr. Donald Zepp is an extraordinarily helpful guy.  When one of our group decided to try to put a new head on their banjo, he guided them successfully through photographs and email.  He carries accessories as well as banjos and has a great website where you can hear the same banjo played after being set up with different bridges, heads, etc.
Banjo Hangout is a website that has many articles on all aspects of banjo setup.  Great website.
The Goodtime Maintenance Manual on Deering's website is very informative.
