Thanks to Jacalyn,
the National Colonial Farm opened their lovely space to us again so
together we could celebrate the friendship and fun we shared in 2007.
What
an awesome group of people ~ there are so many good people who make our
old time music community thrive. There are all the musicians who
come ready to play and there are our mentors who show up to our jams
to share the music with us. There are the folks who make sure the
jams happen and the folks who open their homes to host them. There
are the good cooks who bring treats to share and the those who stay late
to clean up. There are picture takers and website contributors,
folks who record jams, workshops and contests to share and folks who
network and spread the word. There are people who drive others to
festivals and jams and folks who set up our jam spaces at festivals.
Folks who stuff the box so we can send a donation to the Colonial Farm and
others who donate their time to play for the kids at Eddie's Club, the
horses at Day's End or the visitors at the Canal. We wouldn't have
nearly as much fun with out every single one of you there to make it
happen. So thanks everyone . . . we'll see you at a jam in 2008!
